We absolutely loved our stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The architecture was absolutely stunning, with a perfect blend of traditional Japanese style and modern renovations. The hotel itself is situated on top of a hill, offering breathtaking views of the bay below. It truly felt like a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
We highly recommend this place to our friends.

Located on top of a hill, this ryokan offers stunning views overseeing the bay. Rooms are well-furnished with tatami floors and come with a private onsen and spacious bathroom. Friendly staff provide quick, polite and attentive service, and serve a delicious gourmet breakfast and dinner that features premium grade scallops, abalone, king crab and matsusaka beef. the outdoor onsen area is surrounded by cherry and bamboo mats that add to the beautiful scenery of the place.
The ryokan may be slightly difficult to reach without a car.

We enjoyed a lovely romantic escape at a Japanese-style hotel with breathtaking views of the bay and city. Our room was spacious and beautifully designed with private onsen, which was very relaxing. the dinner course was fantastic, with a wide variety of seafood served impeccably, and the service was exceptional.
Due to the heavy snow, the outside onsen was closed, which was a bit disappointing. some of the staff members didn't speak English fluently, making communication difficult at times.

I had an incredible experience at this hotel with breathtaking views overseeing the bay on top of a hill. The cleanliness of the hotel facilities was impressive, from its 140-year old architecture to the private onsen in my room. I enjoyed the convenience of having parking and a rental car to access this city. The culinary delights for breakfast and dinner left me satisfied and the staff's attentive service made my stay even more enjoyable.
Nothing to fault.

Had an awesome time staying at this traditional hotel during Xmas. The snowy view was breathtaking and so was the delicious food offered. Loved the private bathroom with the hot spring as it added to the relaxing stay. The location was perfect, being close to the shops and restaurants made it easy to experience the town.
The only thing that was a little annoying was the noise of the trains passing nearby. But this was outweighed by the best aspects of the hotel.
